'As many times I have written a “business plan”, it seems the flavor of it can vary quite substantially. I think the notion of this catches a good number of people by surprise. And why shouldn’t that be the case? Many textbooks and templates seem to cover business plan outlines with relatively similar structures. Often, my posts here start as replies to emails I receive from readers. Today I got an email with the following question: I have written grants for years. I believe I have been fairly successful. My grant submission in relation to funding rate averages from 6-12%. Now that the ink is dry and the papers filed and the merger official and done, I can publicly reveal that the Interim Executive Director assignment I was working on for the past 8-1/2 months was for the Support Network for Battered Women (SNBW), and that as of April 1, 2010, Support Network is now a division of the YWCA of Silicon Valley. I have also come across quite a few articles claiming this iPad is not yet sophisticated enough or not ready to replace the laptop technology.
